Warranty Terms and Conditions
Scope of Warranty

KABATA provides a guarantee for newly produced spare parts under the KABATA brand, applicable to both commercial vehicles and passenger cars.
The warranty period ranges from 14 to 36 months from the date of purchase, depending on the product and the market. Certain products in specific markets, such as Japan and the USA, are covered by a 36-month warranty. This does not apply to all countries or regions. For detailed information on the warranty period applicable to your specific region, please contact KABATA Japan or your local distributors.
Non-Extension of Warranty
The warranty period will not be extended if replacement products are provided. The remainder of the original warranty period applies to any replacements.
Conditions for Claims
Warranty claims are valid for material defects, as defined by law, provided these defects were present at the time of transfer of risk.
Remedies
In case of a defect, KABATA will provide a replacement part. If an identical part is not available, a substitute part or monetary compensation may be offered. The defective part becomes the property of KABATA once the claim is settled. The warranty does not cover repair services, reassembly costs, or import fees.
Requirements for Warranty Claims
-
Immediate Notification: Defects must be reported immediately to KABATA's aftersales service using the official claim form, available from KABATA or its distribution partners. Defective parts must be reported and documented in detail, including batch numbers for tracking purposes.
-
Submission for Inspection: The buyer must provide three defective samples of the part to KABATA for evaluation at the buyer’s expense. If available, laboratory test results should also be submitted to assist in the evaluation process. If the defect does not meet the warranty requirements, the cost of return shipping will be borne by the buyer.
-
Professional Installation: Parts must be installed by trained personnel in a professional workshop using appropriate tools. Installation must comply with the vehicle manufacturer's guidelines.
-
Regular Servicing: Installed products must undergo maintenance as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
-
Seals: Any existing seals and tamper-proof mechanisms on parts must remain intact.
-
Permitted Load: The product or vehicle must not exceed the load recommended by the manufacturer.

The warranty does not cover the following:
-
